- When the app window is hidden behind other windows, App Cleaner & Uninstaller now pauses interface animations and consumes less CPU. The app is also ready for the upcoming macOS 27 and now launches and runs smoothly on its current beta. We’ve added update support for more apps and improved update detection for a number of others, making it easier to keep everything up to date. In addition, the app accurately finds service files for certain applications, resulting in more complete removal, and we’ve fixed a few interface bugs.
How to Uninstall an application using App Cleaner?
- Launch App Cleaner.
- Scan all applications for service files.
- Choose unneeded application (left view). In-app purchase required.
- Select all its’ service files on right view.
- Click Remove.
- If some apps were not removed, due to access rights, switch to Finder and move them manually to Trash*.
*Some applications can not be removed because they require administrator privileges. In this case, switch to the Finder and delete the application file in usual way.
